Achieving Online Safety Through Community Involvement - Term One Catch-up

Written by Linewize Team | Apr 6, 2021 2:53:45 AM

In the video below, Pauline & Toni discuss some of the key actions your school can undertake to enhance community engagement around online safety.

We recently hosted a deep dive into ways schools can Achieve Positive Behaviour for Tech-Enabled Learning. The response from viewers was overwhelming, but what stood out to us was the reoccurring theme of engaging the wider community.

To help address this issue, we recently sent out by email an Online Safety Conversation Starter guide. The purpose? To help you identify key questions to ask in order to gather information from your community. The information gathered will not only help you to understand some of the current online safety challenges families face at home but will also help to inform the steps you can take to support them.

As we approach the end of Term 1, we felt it important to discuss the ways your pastoral care team can plan for online safety success, using things like your Online Conversation Starters and the Online Safety Success Planner. In the video below we also take a look at different resources available on the new Cyber Safety Hub, a great resource for supporting your wider school community, which is now available for Linewize schools.
