Unpacking Online Incidents with User Journey

Written by Linewize Team | Oct 20, 2021 11:02:35 AM

The impact of a harmful online incident on a student’s wellbeing can be significant, so it's important schools have solutions in place to help prevent harm and effectively manage online safety incidents.

The User Journey feature in Linewize’s School Manager enables your school to thoroughly investigate potentially risky or inappropriate online student behaviour, as part of your incident management process.

Investigating and understanding online incidents

User Journey provides your school with the ability to confidently unpack risk indicators associated with a student’s online behaviour. This is achieved by providing an aggregated history of a student’s online activities, including the opening of websites and applications, searching and streaming of videos, and any potentially risky or unsafe online behaviour.

The concise snapshot of a student’s online activity enables staff to monitor their students' digital behaviour, fully investigate online incidents and provide timely and informed conversations to ensure student wellbeing and safety.

A User Journey Report can be exported to either a PDF or CSV file and uploaded to your school’s Student Management System, or shared with school leaders, parents, families or whānau, as necessary.
